Description
This course offers an exploration of the concepts and practices of floral management and design. It includes an in-depth study of the principles and elements of design used in floral compositions. Students will be provided with the opportunity to apply the principles of design as well as the marketing process through hands-on laboratory activities. Students will explore the scope of the floral industry and the potential for growth and profits. The principles of plant biology will be applied in preserving the quality of floral products and the evaluation of floral plant materials.
