Honors Program

The Honors Program at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College provides academically talented and highly motivated students with enriched academic experiences, interdisciplinary engagement, and opportunities for advanced academic and professional development. Through small, discussion-based courses and close faculty mentorship, Honors students participate in an interactive learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking, research, leadership development, and intellectual community.

Students in the Honors Program may earn the program. The certificate is designed for students who have demonstrated superior academic achievement and who seek a rigorous interdisciplinary academic experience. Students pursuing the certificate must be admitted to the Honors Program and complete Honors-designated coursework and approved Honors experiences.

To earn the program, students must complete two of the following courses: course, course, PRSP 1010H, CRIT 1100H, or SOSC 1100H, along with additional Honors-designated coursework and/or approved undergraduate research experiences as outlined in the Certificate requirements.

Membership in the Honors Program is by invitation or application to the Honors Director.
