Forage Crops and Pastures

A combined lecture and laboratory course designed to study in greater detail the crops pertaining to livestock farming. Emphasis is placed on the grasses, legumes and grain crops produced in the area. Topics include assessment, crop production, grazing schedules, pasture renovation and basic plant biology.
