Mental Health Nursing

This course focuses on developing the competence in nurse caring for clients experiencing mental health/psychiatric illnesses. Issues to be explored include but are not limited to legal, ethical, social, access to care and treatment modalities including pharmacological agents. Clinical experiences with mentally ill clients will be included.
