Description

This course covers numerous aspects of wildlife and fisheries management, as well as understanding the role science plays in making natural resource management decisions, incorporating ecological relationships and a species’ natural history into establishing management strategies, building critical thinking skills that are necessary when presented with novel management problems, developing practical field skills for applying management activities on the ground for both terrestrial and aquatic habitats, and encouraging curiosity and interest in observing and understanding the natural world. Summer. Pre-requisite(s): A minimum grade of C in FRSC 1192, FRSC 2100, and FRSC 3265.
