Forest Mapping & Orienteering

An introduction to the methods of assessing information on forest resources and presenting relevant information in a map format. Instruction will include basic mapping techniques, acreage determination, constructing cover maps of forest types and wildlife habitat, and map orientation and interpretation. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite(s): Completion or exemption from Learning Support requirements in English and Mathematics.
