Intro to Forest Measurements

Prerequisite: Completion or exemption from English and Mathematics Learning Support requirements. An introduction to field measurements, orienteering and mapping. Basic Instruction will include techniques for measuring standing trees, log rules and scaling, and growth measurement. Mapping will include acreage determination, constructing cover maps of forest types, and map orientation and interpretation.
