Maternal-Child & Women's Hlth

Prerequisite: NURS 1110, NURS 1116, and (BIOL 2050/BIOL 2050L) with a minimum grade of C. This course is a study of female patients from adolescence through later maturity and newborn infants. The major focus of this course is on utilization of the nursing process to care for maternity patients, newborn infants and patients experiencing health alterations specific to females.
