Pedagogy Instruct Method Ag Ed

In this pedagogy and educational instruction course, students will learn to implement lessons and unit plans. Microteaching experiences designed to cultivate student engagement and learning as well as critical and creative thinking will be modeled by the instructor and contextualized within educational theory and research to provide preservice agriculture teachers with a meaningful understanding of, and a developing proficiency with, research-supported instructional practices. Prerequisite(s): Admission into Agriculture Teacher Cohort or Department Head approval.
