Description

This course will provide the student with a detailed understanding of the biology, ecology, and diversity of mammals. Students will become familiar with the characteristics and members of the orders of mammals of the world, the families of mammals of North American, and the species of mammals common to Georgia and the Southeast. Identification of mammals from sign, skins, skulls, and dental characteristics will be covered in the laboratory portion of the course. Fall.Prerequisite: BIOL 1108 and BIOL 1108L.
