Selected topics include protein synthesis, gene regulation, chromosomal inheritance and variation, linkage and mapping. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) replication, evolutionary genetics, and genetic engineering. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C in the following courses: (BIOL 1108 and BIOL 1108L) and (CHEM 1212 and CHEM 1212L).
